Need a laugh?I'll be performing at a comedy show to benefit the San Gabriel Valley Foothills chapter of Rebuilding Together on Friday, January 21, 2011 at Zapata V restaurant in Arcadia.
Rebuilding Together is a nonprofit organization with more than 200 affiliates across the country that provides free rehabilitation and repairs to the homes of low-income Americans.
In 2000 (when Rebuilding Together was known as Christmas in April) I was part of a 30+ person team of volunteers that rehabbed a cute little house in Altadena. It was challenging, loud, messy work—and one of the best weekends of my life.
